I have never heard Brinker put it that way at any one time. So long as any of the above occurs within the context of a bull market, he may well agree with some of this statement although the statement with reference to "4-7% decline" sure could apply to a "7-10% decline." Also, I am not sure the "7-10%" rule would always be true if he got an intermediate sell signal at some point during the decline. I don't think we can reduce his thinking to a 3x5" card to carry around in our wallets although it would be nice. I would defer to don lane on this one.
