Dear Kal: I dont know you well enough to recommend a brokerage firm. I presume you want a discount house thought. If you make all your own decisions and dont rely on a human for anything I would suggest that you explore an on line trading firm. If you want a little human intervention I am using Olde Discount. The reasons I use Olde are several fold. First, they are a discount firm. Second you do have a human assigned to you and you should be able to reach him/her any time (I could even on the big selloff last Aug) and finally, they have a really great Money Market account which pays well over 5% interest and you can write checks on it and dividends etc are swept into it daily, thus every cent I have is either invested in stocks or earning interest (no idle money). Finally, if your account is over 500,000 trades of 1,000 shares or more are FREE. JDN
