ok ... yesterday was a clear over-reaction. it closed at 26 11/16 and only in after hours trading it dropped to 24 because someone made a bad (or good, depending where you sit) deal. it opened at 25 today and got back on track. it just closed at 26.5.

the question is .. is tomorrow's range going to be 26to28 or 25to27. My take is that it will hit 27 3/4 t'rrow morning before settling back into the low 26s. The the market momentum will take it is short spurts into the 30s by the middle of April. If you like to (and know how to) trade based on daily fluctuations of 2 points, you can make a few bucks in the next few weeks.

All the top analysts expected a selloff today, I am sure they were surprised by the strength in the stock...

The real question is did Bay tell everything or is there another shoe to drop? If Bay misses the revised targets the reaction in Mid April will not be so kind...

OK, Bay...so that was $580, Book to bill of near 1, and margins decline of 2 points...

Expect little upward movement till these questions are answered...

(p.s....on the sideline for now)

Wiseowl: I am glad that you came thru on top. The move today was contrary to the customary price action following an announcement about an earnings shortfall.

I have no detail explanation to offer you for the sudden change of course. However, I hope this enthusiasm can be sustained till the next Q.

Regards.
