The Vermin or Verminous Apples Graystone nearly bit into the apple when he noticed the gray squirming worm. He shuddered in disgust at the poor quality of the fruit. The orchard was apparently infested with vermin. The harvest would be very slim if this was the type of damage Graystone could expect to encounter in the apples.
