Jacob, looks like majority(including me) in this thread think that semi-equip will go lower. To our surprise, the stocks just refuse to go down. On the china story, there are rumors that China would not devalue its currency since Chinese government try to use this trump card to get into WTO(world trade organization) which is the long term goal of Chinese government and they are willing to sustain short term losses. Remember, China has a closed foreign exchange market and it has 140B dollar reserve, which is more than enough to last a year. In long term, I agree with you that China must devalue its currency to be competitive.

IMHO, the next shoe to drop may come from somewhere else which I do not have a clue just like when the SEA shoe hit us. Prediction of future is tough business, at least to me. I will keep eye on global semi sales figure and make decision accordingly.
