Here is a AD20msp910 ADSL Chipset list of users...let's hope they all start ordering in quanity. From AWRE site: AD20msp910 ADSL Chipset from Analog Devices & Aware Lowest cost, Most Complete Solution for ADSL Modems Aware and Analog devices co-developed this second generation ADSL chipset. The chipset uses a combination of ASICs, digital signal processors, and proprietary software developed by Aware to provide all the functions necessary in an ADSL modem. The ADSL chipset meets the performance objectives of the DMT multi-carrier modulation chosen by the American National Standards Institute ("ANSI") as the standard for ADSL. This chipset succeeds a first generation chipset which began shipping in November 1995. All chipsets are manufactured and sold by Analog Devices. From: ADI site:Fully compliant to industry standards (ANSI T1.413, ETSI TR238, ITU G.adsl), the AD20msp910 chipset combines all the functions and essential software required for implementing a complete ADSL modem. It is a five-device chipset that integrates a DMT co-processor, analog front end, line driver, host processor and interface/framer and is bundled with data pump firmware and additional software to provide a full protocol stack for data control and management. The result is a complete solution with the capability to push the speed of data transmission over existing copper to 8 Mbps - 60 times faster than ISDN and over 200 times faster than 33.6-kbps voice-channel modems. "By using the AD20msp910, IPM Datacom's equipment ensures line-to-line compatibility between services, which is a key ingredient feeding the ongoing upgrade to local loop infrastructures around the world," said Russ Johnsen, vice president and general manager of Analog Devices' Communications Division. "Because the AD20msp910 is the highest performance chipset on the market, it is being embraced by nearly every major manufacturer of DSL equipment. It has become the benchmark by which all follow-on competitive chipsets will be graded." IPM Datacom joins a growing list of companies that have publicly announced the use of ADI's AD20msp910. Among the most notable are ADC Telecommunications, Advanced Fibre Communications, Ascend Communications, Cisco Inc, DSC Communications Corporation, EPL Ltd., Ericsson, Hayes Microcomputer Products, Pairgain Technologies, Philips GmbH, Samsung, and TelTrend. So Tim you called PulseCom on the phone huh...brillant! Duh. :o)
