There is no way that CPQ is scrapping the DEC deal...CPQ is committed to making this deal happen quickly and correctly. They are paying close attention to execution. As for DEC...they are a services powerhouse who wisely ditched their unprofitable chip and networking businesses. This is a great match! CPQ's new delivery model is coming on line now and already showing increased profitablity. Once they flush the channel (as we speak) of older, rapidly depreciating stock, they'll be lean and mean.
