We're going to the 20's if we don't make the numbers. I hope its a no
news scare due to BAY. But I don't think so.

Considering Ascend's weakness and Bay's resilliance together, could there be a shift in perception that Bay, instead of Ascend, is the more likely takeover candidate for LU?

Otherwise, this just makes no sense.

Sorry to say looks like you could be looking @ 31 tomorrow!

Goldmans @ 31 3/8 They'll probably take out all the bids again tomorrow why not. Remember last fall sure feels the same. This is big money so I hope market watch is watching...somebody is selling on inside information. IMO

Really pissed.

Jeff

the shorts come out. unfortunately asnd currently has a short attack. many short investors feel since coms, cs, nn, and bay have pre-warned, so will asnd. my feeling is that shorts have decided asnd will pre-warn, and as the price drops, so does small investor confidence, so the small investor sells, helping the shorts to pull the price down. many small investors want to lock in those profits having purchased asnd in the 20's.

keep in mind pat and j.p morgan have reported asnd will make the quarter, and soon asnd will begin the next product cycle in both atm and max products.

this pull back relates to other networkers warning, some institutions are piling up the shares as the price drops. why? if you want to be in networking, which stock do you purchase outside of csco (class by itself)?

asnd has has been attempting to establish credibility with the street by making numbers and meeting with the analysts. asnd even met with pat.
