Trey/ALL - a bit of unsolicited venting. Very frustrating when Gerstner (Cebit) pronounces the explosion of the net and the need for big pipes and WSTL goes down. Everyday I think about averaging down and everyday the trigger doesn't pull. Dammit - anybody buying?

Peter

Sorry for lack of details but...Northern Telecom is buying a high speed internet company as reported in this morning's Globe and Mail newspaper.(Toronto, Canada)

No mention of xDSL, but Netspeed and Ascend mentioned in article, as was impending increased Internet competition between Nortel and Cisco.

Again, sorry for lack of detail (this is not hyperbole) but cannot even remember name of company, but was noted as one of the "Companies to Watch" for rapid sales growth.

Can this lead to added interest from Lucent ?????
