Burt people will buy what gives a better performance for $$$. Right now I think it is cyrx and amd. But you would argue that pentium mmx at the same freq is at least 50% faster than k6 and pii at the same clock speed is at least 100% faster, right? Well who cares about all that tests that show otherwise..... And I do not have a lot of respect for Kurlak yet he was very well liked on intel thread when he was pro-intel :-)). Considering that amd is aiming at substantially larger market share while having almost none right now I would say that amd got better chances of growing in the current environment. I would not deny though that amd is high risk but so is intel now. Is MS publisher better at that than photoshop? Best Regards and Good Investing -Albert
