SK, what's also amusing is the reaction to any negative comment. It reminds me of a TV Christmas story "A Wish for Wings that Work". It's available for sale in a video store, kids will love it, but adult humor. In one portion, Bill-the-Cat coughs up a hair ball and the sea gulls dance about that hair ball not knowing what to do. The distress is amusing to say the least. See the video and you will always be amused visualizing that piece when you see people on SI go nuts.

SKW2,

The cheerleaders that I recall from high school were never very effective at "leading cheers" as in stirring up enthusiasm. They were rarely more than an alternate entertainment spectacle and sometimes the source of pleasant diversion during slow parts of the game. Our Naxos cheerleaders may lack some of the physical accoutrements (although I am told Mark is a sight in spandex) but they did a great job of filling up the dead moments.

I believe that the latest release justifies a full-on can-can, if not a topless pyramid. Now we have to hope that the big boys in the back row smoking cigars and drinking 20 year old single malt are paying attention to the game, if not the cheerleading.

Cheers, cheers, cheers all,

Lawrence
