Chuck,

I don't know anything about the International Card investigation, or its possible affect on 'LCAV', but the technical indicators show a "good accumulation" pattern. This stock must hold above 1.45 to stay in a positive trend. There was a breakaway gap opening on 3/14/98 with the a low of 1 21/32. The previous day's high of 1 7/16 would mark the lower boundary of the gap which might or might not be closed. At any rate 'LCAV' should penetrate 1 7/16 on a closing basis in order for the current rally to be sustained.

The encouraging factors about this accumulation period is that the average volume is 131,383 shares. This would suggest institutional interest in the issue.

You are right when you observed upside resistance a $2.00. Once that is penetrated, look for a test of $2.50 then $3.25.

At the present time this stock represents a good buy on all pullbacks under $2.50/share.

Harry

The only way around this constant volatility is a sustained cash flow from procedure sales. The resistance (IMO)comes from traders who are riding the ups and downs almost on a hour by hour basis.
This whole laser thing is all a marketing problem that has not been resolved. The question is "how do you make an optional procedures a necessity" and still keep it wrapped in medical ethics.
I've written all the companies with the same suggestion.
They should at least push the idea that eye glasses are "ugly" and unnecessary.
