Janybird, and M Chen

You know you are wasting your time with these guys. Give the other members of this board some credit to realize what they are trying to do.. The people that have been around for awhile couldn't care less about these guys. On another board we clicked right past all of their posts, and they soon left with their tail between their legs, and poorer, like they are going to be here also. CLICK by these guys. We don't need em, want em, they will lie, cheat and steal. I have two words for all of them Short More!!!!

Jane - the important issue is Zero Tolerance for Kernicterus. If this device achieves that, then it has a role. If not, not.

I'm not sure of its role. And I'm not sure that the FDA has defined the role. It performed better than the naked eye and similar to 1950's technology.

If you save some heel sticks and lose a baby, I don't think the child's mother will send you Valentine's cards.

Love,

Dan

Let me support you on this one Janybird...

The issue is not whether the device is better than traditional tests, the issue is whether it is at least as good. If CCSIs device is as good as heelpricks in specificty and sensitivity, then the device is better to use becasue of reduced side effects and lower costs.

Prozac does not work any better than traditional tricylic antidepressants such as Elavil, but Prozac is preferred because it less "less dirty", ie.., fewer side effects.

If one had their choice between two equally effective treatments, and one is less painful/more tolerable, which would you pick?
