If the deal goes thru CPQ gets DEC at a great price. So I bought COQ leaps for Jan 2000 and sold puts for no net cost because CPQ is getting the benefit of DEC.

Buy both, I did. I feel it's going to be a great opportunity of the year. In the year 2000 the patient ones will be rewarded handsomely. Meanwhile, buy. Have faith and let the other parts of the markets catch up with the techs. Being out of favor is difficult for the short sighted. Hang on.
