Oh my Mazman, I dont know what to tell you, I am so wrong so often on entry points. I watched Lucent hungrily from 70 on wanting a pull back to the 60's. I never got it. I finally bought in at 106, tremblingly because I was so afraid of a pullback. I got a pullback to 104 and now, this.
Mazman this is the company of the future. I love Dell, and firmly believe that we will get the kind of returns from Lucent, with splits and going up and splits and going up, that we get from Dell.
I'm no guru but I say, just buy it! Or, you might want to wait for a market correction but what if it forms a support level after the split, as it well might? Than you would be getting in higher anyway.
Good luck!

If you have the time and cash, I would venture to say that in years to come Lu will be at the top of the heap when it comes to world class operations.

That is if the U.S. government doesn't step in.
