Unfortunately today MAVK created a piercing dark cloud which does not bode well for the future. I think MAVK will see the 13 very soon. I hope not, but I will buy more at that level. There is no support on the chart till way down in the single digits and every rally is met with selling pressure. Today we should not have been down!!

Youse candlestick people cut me up!

One day we have a bullish engulfing pattern and the stock is going to the moon. The very next day we have a piercing dark cloud cover, and we are back to gloom and doom. :)

MAVK looks like an extrodinary bargain here, and I have started nibbling at it. Given the size of my position currently, a couple of points of downside doesn't bother me. I think there is extrodinary upside here.

Also added MDCO this morning, BTW, on the morning dip to 21 1/8. It had crossed-over on my technical indicator and was looking strong technically, and so I took advantage of the shakeout and managed to snag some at the bid. Initially a short-term play. You may have to wait a while for it to hit 18, IMO.

BTW, these purchases are TA based. I use a MACD of the RSI on 1-hour and daily bars. MAVK cross-over positively on the 1-hour bars this morning. MDCO has crossed-over on both the 1-hour and daily bars.

(I actually do look at candlesticks myself, but more for the entertainment value. :) I do like one of the Japansese techniques - that being 3-line break. I feel it's a great indicator for spotting basic trend changes.)
