Ref: Active Voice and DELL.

Pat:

I found out about Active Voice, particularly about their news release yesterday regarding the 'agreement' with DELL,it cost me couple of bucks but hey what the heck it is only money right??? How come it cost me money?? Well I thought, after reading the news release, that DELL is going to install their software in all their PCs and bought a few shares hoping to make a couple of bucks. It didn't turn out that way and i dumped the stock this morning after I got this email from the company.

Some investors are misinterpreting the press release.ÿ I have heard that they think our software will be sold on all Dell PCs sold.ÿ Such is not the case.ÿ We are now buying Dell PCs instead of 2nd tier PCs for our turnkey voicemail systems that we sell.ÿ The revenue impact will not be major although our customers have asked for a higher quality component.

Any way 'Dellish 3' also called them this am and found out that ACVC will be using DELL PCs instead of 'second tier' PCs and they expect to sell some 12,000-15,000 DELL pcs/year through their 600 or so 'channels' to their clients, a bit of a good news for DELL nonetheless.

Nothing like 'greed' I tell-ya. Anyway I think I will make up the losses (may be not <gg>)on this little overnight transaction by tomorrow, why you ask, well 'cause I bought shares of a company called RF Monolithics (RFMI)with the left over money from this transaction....stay tuned.<<gggg>>> Well at least they are my neighbor, you know nothing like a Texas company.<gg>
