It sometimes seems to be assumed that it will go. Another reason I believe LGND is speculation. Better to look for companies with solid earnings and growth that are positioned to take off and be leaders. This is not to say LGND will not take off and grow, but simply that other companies show better signs and are better places to put long term money. Why buy LGND when there are so many other companies with much better profiles, much more likely to really break out and show fantastic gains for shareholders?
