This is just my opinion, of course, but since 3.00 held today, I think it will probably close today's gap, do a little work around 3.00, and then move toward 4.00, where I will sell at least a quarter of my position. I think it may even move toward 4.00 without any serious developments (news), but who knows. I certainly don't think it will move above 4.00 without mutual fund buying.

Maybe some things can be explained by news, but I rely much more on charts. My gain or loss, I suppose!

I would think that with copper declining, that would impact the valuation assigned to Minoro. But if Indonesia houses six clusters, copper can drop a-heckuva-long-way and IPJ still have substantial share value! And again, even if copper drops really low, I don't think it will stay there long. I'm willing to hold a position in IPJ for five years if I need to! I have a table of gold values somewhere...hopefully I can find it...but the only times it has gotten close to 200, it has recovered quickly and strongly. Plus, whatever world events bring gold down to 200 CAN'T be a good thing, and would probably be followed by a lot of inflation. And all commodity values will gain in US dollar value in that unhappy day.

Here's hoping there will be markets to sell my IPJ shares into when that time comes!

At the conference in Vancouver there was a speaker that discussed the price of gold with respect to Elliot Wave Analysis. He said that gold would move to 2.25-2.85 in the next 8 months (six now), then down to under $200 (2000-2002 ish), then far above the early eighties high of $850. He's the only person I know who has claimed gold under $200.
