Overlord (self-proclaimed, albeit unrecognized)-

Somewhat cute, and certainly a cut above the vicious, unsubstantiated character assassination to which I have been subject on SI as of late. However, it's really no more informative than the idiot eddie's "blow up your dress" comment. Like those who attacked me here or on BK, you offer no specifics about my alleged deficiencies- there is nothing I can really respond to. When I responded sharply to people, I usually gave reasons why I deemed people to be morons in the eddie gammon class- in his particular situation I thought he made the case abundantly clear himself. My detractors could not be bothered to specify why I was an idiot (or worse), and seemed to think that simply by spouting off that they had something worth saying.

I admit, I have been disappointed by a number of people on SI who would condemn me for responding harshly to those who traduced me, but leave uncensured those who initiated the attack- particularly when when my detractors did so with no attempt to justify their depiction of me. I simply do not understand why anyone is expected to let moronic, unsubstantiated attacks on his character or intelligence hang unchallenged in cyberspace. The people who engage in that kind of idiotic, uncivil behavior are capable of much evil in this world. My sympathy for those who silently endured the dispute in which I was engaged is accordingly limited.
