1. Don't see the relevance to AMA's reluctance to accept unrefined and developed technology in the 1980's.
2. This will be reported in time. Also, the sophistication of the BA represents a significant barrier to entry.
3. Extensive clinical trials.
4. Patent runs out and HMSC is way ahead of any potential competition.
5. This is an adjunctive screening device and does not requires the same approval as Type 1 Devices. They already have approval to sell Type 2 medical device. Doesn't that tell you something.

There also could be some large health care manufacturers which are following HMSC closely. Best Regards.
