Jane, Jane, Jane!!! I was so intrigued by your reference to Hal Lindsey that I did a web search about him. Now he is into prophesies and all sorts of stuff like the black helicopters you talk about. And he was with the Reverend Moon for awhile. Now Jane, this doesn't seem like just plain old Christianity to me, and I am very worried for you!!! It seems like a cult of some sort!!! And Jane, are you sure that you are not really Hal Lindsey? There is something very familiar about his writing and thinking style that reminds me of you, Jane!!! Here is an excerpt from an intereview: Question: You state in your new book Planet Earth 2000, that you believe UFOs are demonic in origin. What is your view of the potential for extra-terrestrial life? Indeed, can there be such a thing? Hal Lindsay: In my book Planet Earth 2000 A.D., I did talk about UFOs, and I did talk about the possibility, not that I'm saying it's absolutely true, but the possibility that these are manned by extraterrestrial beings. Now what I meant by that is that the Bible tells us there are extraterrestrial beings. They are called angels. I believe, personally, and I'm increasingly becoming convinced of it, that Satan is setting up a very clever hoax with these UFO sightings because God is gradually removing his restraint of Satan that's ordinarily been there. He is being allowed to use his powers to manifest certain physical material things. We know from certain other passages and scriptures that this is possible for him to do. I believe he may well be setting up a whole system of historical events so that he can, after all believers are taken out, have one of these objects land, demons posing in the form of extraterrestrial beings, will begin to tell man that we've been planted on this earth by their ancestors, and that they saw that we were about to self-destruct. So they've come back to show us the way into a new quantum leap in consciousness that will bring peace and prosperity for the planet. Question: I'm very aware that we're snowballing towards a one world government. Do you know or have information how intensive the United Nations military are occupying our old military bases? I see black helicopters flying all over the place, no markings, and this type of thing. Hal Lindsay: I know that many people are concerned about reports of concentration camps being formed in the United States, of United Nations troops being gathered here, of black helicopters and so forth. That's why in my latest newsletter, the International Intelligence Bulletin, we spent a good deal of time researching this and let me assure you that these black helicopters are not some foreign power or some of special U.S. troops under foreign command. They are not anything like that. We have an Intelligence specialist that is working with us on this issue. We call him Colonel Z. Colonel Z has been out there and really investigated this. There are black helicopters. There are some compounds, but the black helicopters are being used by the F.D.A. and the Department of Firearms and Drugs and so forth, and they are also being used by special units of drug enforcement. But there is no sinister foreign power using them. Military also uses some of these black helicopters, but that's in very limited number and they use them only when they are training special commandos in search and into foreign countries. They are not some sinister conspiracy where foreign troops are being gathered here to take over the U.S. That is something that is a figment of some right wings imagination. That is not happening. I believe that we are moving rapidly toward a one world government. I believe that the election of Bill Clinton greatly accelerated that. However, I would have to say that we are between the devil and the deep blue sea because George Bush also believed in it and did a lot of things to set us in motion toward losing our national sovereignty and going under the U.N. flag. I believe, yes, there are dangers of that, but I don't see any indication of foreign troops here in order to take over the United States. That's just not happening. twibp.com
