<<Just in time for E3 last year Microprose lifted
the veil of secrecy on their sequel to M1TP. About
six weeks ago we had some hands on time with
a beta, and it impressed the socks off me! Finally
Janes and DiD have a true rival for quality.
Everything I have seen of this sim to date calls to
mind that same attention to detail. Even the
music, which I rarely like, has a very military and
cool FEEL to it, not unlike the tracks we have
seen from JANES. >>>>

Who would buy them?

In speaking to some friends in the Industry, I have also heard that there is a weak possibility that ERTS may be interested in MPRS. Any thoughts?

Also, a while back there was a rumor about MSFT being an interested buyer; however, at 1 1/2. MSFT has really stepped up their Entertainment department, both on the hardware and software ends. I don't see a buyout; however, I see MSFT becoming a heavy hitter in this sector within 2 years. Not to say that they wont have competition, I just see them realizing the importance of gaming.

On a gaming note; I loved Choplifter, but I'm pretty sure that this version will be too supped up for me. The first one was great, and if I had a copy of it for my PC I would still play it.

Let us just hope that they complete and ship their current lineup of games in a timely manner.
