Well, this evening I do love the Pope, Ignacio. I realize many Jews are disappointed that his statement Monday admitting that the Catholics negativity toward the Jews and passivity towards the Nazis had caused many needless deaths in World War II did not go far enough, but it was a start. He also said that the Catholics had misinterpreted the New Testament and caused hurt and prejudice to the Jews in that way for several hundred years. Weren't some of us talking about this a few weeks ago? In some ways this Pope is intellectually very brave, and I like that. Jane must think I am picking on her, but I think she has spent too much time around men like Hal Lindsey. To me, it is men like that who are truly evil. Satan does not exist, but poor Jane believes that he does, when real evil is in the false prophets who beguile and brainwash her with black helicopters. I am very worried for her!! Christine
