I bought 10K shares of CVIA and tucked them away. Sort of like buying a lotto ticket and hiding it until the drawing. The biggest problem I see: the size of the float. 100 million shares? It's gonna take one heck of a day of trading to make this thing move. Has anyone asked Jack if he plans to do a reverse merger? His stock price isn't gonna go anywhere with 100 million shares unless he announces Lucent as a new partner or does a reverse merger.

Rob,

I asked Jack Arnold about it several months ago. These are some of his comments that may answer your question:

"Dear Michael,

I am grateful for shareholders such as yourself. I have found it quite difficult to convince skeptical shareholders and potential
shareholders that we truly are trying to represent their interests in
restructuring this company. Apparently, deception and exaggeration is quite common in the stock market, making it difficult to convey my sincere desire to make this work.

When I took over CVIA, the company had no assets, no prospects, and no
one to lead it back from the grave. I decided to get involved because
many of my friends had purchased stock from the previous management
group, and I felt compelled to see what might be done to keep the ship
from totally sinking.

Through some personal and professional contacts, I located the
opportunity that is before us. Given the weak bargaining and financial
position of CVIA at the time I assumed responsibility, this
opportunity truly has the best chance of creating the most value for the shareholders in my opinion.

My primary objective is to return as much value to each shareholder's
investment as I can. Obviously, there is no guarantee everyone will
get out cleanly (especially those who bought 6 months ago, 12 months ago etc. and did not average down their shares by buying at the recent $.04 & $.05 prices), but I am taking responsible steps to extract positive value from this public shell.

Thank you for the much needed positive feedback. Comments from folks
such as yourself make my efforts worthwhile. I trust I can bring something good to fruition to justify the trust you and many others have put in us.

Sincerely, Jack Arnold"

position, I am not a significant shareholder (less than 3%). I stand to benefit primarily, though not substantially, from company value based upon a successful merger taking place..." - November 26, 1997

Hello! Rob,

I noticed that Milk's reply to your posting #2520 provided an excellent response to some of the questions that you asked on one of your previous postings!
It is also my opinion that the information that Milk shared as being precisely the reasons that Jack has indicated from the moment that he tried to save the CVIA Shell!

From a compensation standpoint, Jack had indicated in the past discussions, and I believe in a previous news release that he would be involved in some management capacity in the newly merged company ! WOTD?---------I seem to recall that his role would be directed more in the area of Investor Relations Manager, if my memory serves me correctly!

Personally, I don't feel it is my place to be constantly asking Jack how he will be compensated for his efforts if indeed he is successful in bringing value to CVIA!--I hope he is fairly and duly compensated, and if it was directly tied into the results of his efforts, then I say more power to him!

Bottom line, is that I feel his motivation to move the CVIA efforts forward to a successful and profitable future, are very accurately described in Milks previous posting!

Rob! I thought that your questions were well thought and quite appropriate as we move closer to ( Ihope!) a news announcement!

Best Regards,

Wayne J.
