billwot. I know where you are coming from with USRX/COMS. I also had quite a bit of USRX and had just bought some 3Com. when they announced the deal. It took me quite some time to come back from that fiasco. I finally sold most of my COMS after the merger at 53 after it came down from over 60. The rest, which I did not sell, is still under water and may be even more under water tomorrow. Rockwell did not sound too great after the market closed. And I always felt they did USRX in with their "Me First" attitude. They never were first in that modem war and now they are crying and probably take the networkers with them tomorrow. I know 3Com was down after the market closed.

Here is an article about Lucent. I sounds pretty interesting. I forgot if you own LU but I may decide to buy more before it splits. This stock seems to have a way to go. It could be moving big time after the split, who knows, maybe even some more before.

I am wondering what could be happening in June. They can have a merger deal again by that time. I think they were restricted until then to merge with a stock deal. And who could they be buying if they do?

Good thing for Dell, LU, PBI and Mrk. Otherwise I would be in deep doo doo.
