When did you see that Dateline about the Travellers? Tonight?

I have heard the same thing, Carol, vaguely, but a couple of years ago. A lot of them did come to the United States together and stuck together as well in that little place.

In Ireland they are very mistrusted. Gypsies everywhere live by their wits. While I am sure our own lovely gypsy is a wonderfully free spirit and simply quite exotic, it is sad but true that in order to survive on the road some real gypsies and Travellers steal and cheat to make their living.

Have you seen the movie called Traveller? It is about the travellers in America. Juliana Marguilles is in it (she plays the Lithuanian nurse on ER, the nurse that dates the doctor played by George Clooney). If you are interested in the travellers you will enjoy this movie. It received a lot of critical acclaim.
