Figure it this way, if my time is worth $50 an hour how much more can I make in a year with a computer that renders twice as fast...Lots... You got that backwards Doren. If your machine works twice as fast then you will finish twice as fast. Therefore you will work half as much and make half as much. Just thought I would point that out. Jon Bird

The equation of cost/speed/programs used/dumbness of operator favors the Apple for some areas. Many creative types(as they style themselves) do not have the ability ti run a dos box and they went Apple early on. Some need onlt a few programs, and so on. Historically the Apple had a chance but blew it by being seen as too costly and people voted with wallets. It is ever thus and Apple must realize that or stay niche. Bill
