You got that backwards Doren. If your machine works twice as fast then you will finish twice as fast. Therefore you will work half as much and make half as much. Just thought I would point that out.

The equation of cost/speed/programs used/dumbness of operator favors the Apple for some areas. Many creative types(as they style themselves) do not have the ability ti run a dos box and they went Apple early on. Some need onlt a few programs, and so on.
Historically the Apple had a chance but blew it by being seen as too costly and people voted with wallets. It is ever thus and Apple must realize that or stay niche.

My wontel motherboard has a SCSI board built right into it. This is becoming more of a standard on wontel machines. I have to work with both because the Mac doesn't break down enough to keep my kids in OJ and I have both machines at home, but Mac is by far my personal favorite!!!
