<<<I am very much concerned about Falcon 4>>>

Good point...me too (concerned). I hope it hits the shelves by July 1,98. Also, hope they allow pre-ordering starting in Apr or May.

Time will tell.

Robust Internet Multiplay is one of the most important features in games today...... especially Falcon 4.

I share your concern about a delayed release date, but it's better to put an awesome game that takes a little longer than an average one on time. That Internet multiplay you claim as a 'big deal' is really the most important aspect of the game that will make it stand out.

In the first person 3d genre, when you ask game players what makes Quake and Quake II the best the 3d games and they will unanimously tell you it's the robust internet play. Most of them will tell you that without the internet, the game is pure garbage.

Look at the success of our Worms 2 game, number 5 on the best selling list for Babbage's. It's selling like hotcakes here in Canada. Why? It's awesome internet play. Without internet, the game is nothing.

Therefore, I see impatient people purchasing something like Jane's first just to get a good flight sim under their belt where they can play against the computer. When they want to test their skills with or against the world, I see them purchasing Falcon 4.

And believe me, playing human opponents is so much better than computer AI. The ability to play hundreds or possibly thousands of opponents is something never ever conceived in the history of video gaming with a stand alone product! All the magazines I've seen are greatly anticipating this title mainly for its multiplayer internet capabilities.
