The fact is, CPQ is moving out stale inventory and it's a handful of buisiness publications who are calling that a price war. Clearly the margins on some of CPQ's offerings are razor thin (read: free) but look at what they are unloading: rugged, reliable but way cheezy 15 inch monitors. I don't personally know anybody who wants a lowly 15 incher these days (now now ladies) since the standard is clearly moving toward 17 inches and I see that trend accelerating. Leverage that equipment in a give-away promotion while they still have value; that's smart thinking.
