Del, lets go by parts then. There is no water at the core of the moon for many different reasons. Tell me, what are you thinking? What is the energy source that you have in mind (radiogenic I suppose). How deep are you talking about? How is life getting what it needs there? Take it one at a time. What chemistry could take place? How are you getting the water there? Many satellites are mostly ice but the Moon is different.
