Kathleen:
I'll leave this to MB. He's got much more experience here.
Best, Earlie

Kathleen, all other thing equal an S&P downgrade makes raising debt more costly due to the perception ( rightly so) of higher risk. In theory this should place some pressure on the stock price but not during a mania. The bulls don't let facts temper their enthusiasm for Micron. I am not sure at what debt rating even the slimiest banker would not try to float a debt issue-I'll let MB take a stab at that. Micron will need cash to keep up with the competition-where they will get this cash-i don't know Can they get it? I have my doubts. Mike
