Arthur,

I have been averaging up my Ames position right from the very start.
Started buying at $2.00, then $3.00, 4 , 8 , and recently at $14 1/2.

I met with my accountant today for final tax review of 1997 and he advised me to start draining off some of my Ames profits in the near future as I have such a large percentage of my portfolio in the stock.

I definitely will not sell my ames positions at any time in the near future. If anything .. I will buy more and average up again when the price is down due to the market makers activities. I would consider buying again at anything under $16.00.

Do you think that I am crazy to have so much faith in this company??

Regards,

Barry
