CLOSURE THREAT TO BANKS OVER 2000 BOMB:
The Financial Services Authority, the unified financial regulator, will today warn banks and investment companies that it will shut them down or stop them from taking on new business if it thinks they have not done enough to cope with the millennium bomb. Later in the article the FSA does, indeed, go so far as to threaten to order a firm to stop doing business altogether, or compel it to transfer all its operations to another company.

Back then, the commotion "TIMBERRR" generated was a big factor in Skipard leaving the thread, not that Skip wasn't headed that way already. I suppose I'm drunk enough with success here it matters little now...forgive and forget I guess.
