hi raleigh,
re: 18 site (city?) deployment and worldwide deployment

i think this initial deployment will do wonders for ftel/fnet recognition worldwide. i can't remember who brought it up on this thread but while it is true that there are numerous companies jumping into the IT market, fnet looks like the only one (so far) that will deploy their dvg's in a UNIFIED network across the u.s.

it is this potential access to POTS all over the u.s. that will be most enticing for international customers debating between which gateway to support. why purchase a gateway from a company like inter-tel if you'll only have access to the other gateway(s) within your own company ? purchasing a tempest from ftel with a user agreement from fnet could potentially give you access to every POT in the u.s.

if i can compare it to delivering a package.... other gateways give you the option of using a bike runner to deliver packages between offices. but fnet could be the federal express of internet telephony.

later,
tony

btw - larrie woods just sent me something in email telling me that there will be good luck coming in 4 days......ask him to explain what that means.
