Tony,

You left out the rest of my message. Perhaps including it would put that statement into better context. But what I was said was in response to the belief that Brian thinks that LGND is a poor investment because it has not shown a history of earnings growth. Now given that LGND has not made one cent, then obviously by that definition, it is a poor investment. In that light, LGND will NOT be a good investment for Brian until it starts making money, which is forecasted to be in 1999. Now, shall we hold Brian up until that date? Hence the comment "move on to greener pastures".

But thanks, Tony, for giving me the opportunity to clarify a potentially inflammatory statement.

To answer your question, I bought LGND on 2/24 because it had broken through it's MA on relatively high volume a few days before. On the 24th there was a slight retrace allowing me to enter at 14.5. So, I bought this stock purely on that basis. I plan to remain in LGND until my interpretation of the charts signals a sell.
