Something similar happened in Europe, The European head of the Carrier business unit got fired along with about 60 of his staff. The bean counters have walked in it seems and decided they can't justify the headcount on the numbers they are doing. One of my friends at an ISP says that the Hiper Arc card isn't shipping yet which is required to get the higher modem densities they want. Rumor is this won't happen until June for the European market.
