Mephisto, i am surprised about your interest in the bubbling crude. saudi arabia is now becoming a third rate player in the oil game. they are hooked on infrastructure, they need to sell to keep their economy going and keep paying interest on their deby. they have many competitors today. no sense in mentioning them. the US will learn pretty soon that to defend these dictatorships is not the winning hand. if a hard line president comes to power, they will tell the saudis and the el sabahs in kuwait to listen or shut up. remember these dictators are scared to through their white robes of being overthrown. so in effect the US is their protector. more later.
