Good Morning TR,

Per your thoughts:
(1. Since the relationship with PAIR was just announced their previous
performance doesn't concern PAIR and should not effect the stock price.)

Keep in mind that the Rockwell management knew they would be making their earnings announcement when they made the PAIR announcement. Tieing themselves into an alliance with a company that is considered innovative, a leader in its industry, and stable (debt free) could possibly help stabilize the Rockwell stock even with earnings warnings.

(2. We haven't heard any earnings warnings from PAIR. In the past they
have done an excellent job of managing expectations so there is no reason to expect anything but good numbers.)

I agree fully.

(3. If we all believe in the MM option manipulation theory and they are unable to hold the stock below 21 for expiration, do we believe they will take it up to 22.5 and let those expire worthless?)

A review of the closing PAIR prices on option Fridays for the past 13 months indicates that each time one could buy back into PAIR at a lower price within 5 trading days. So if my stock gets called, I can buy it back cheaper next week.

Just sharing a few thoughts.

B.M.

1. TRUE.
2. Earnings warning can come any time until the earnings date.
If the company misses a number by 1 or 2 cents, it doesn't have to
warn. Hope NOT!
3. They (the 22.5 calls) are already worthless at the moment.

T/R,
I think they'll do everything they can to get the 20's. I don't believe it's in their nature not to keep trying. PAIR APPEARS to have the power at this time to resist that. All we can do is wait and see. Bottom line though is, it's the MM's nature to hold the price at this time.
As far as Rockwell? I'm not sure I understood it that clearly. But I thought it said Modem sales were down as people were waiting on that 90 SOMETHING they aare coming out with? At any rate it had a taste to me of people wanting something faster and more efficient modem wise. They said the 56k was lagging, but we know people realized shortly after release they couldn't get 56k out of it.
Could be positive for Falcon vs 56k? Man! Just a guess here! Sure wish Knip was around!
Best to ya buddy,
Jay
