About 90 or 91 some of the farm equipment manufactures started putting Bosch alternators on their stuff. I had people come into the shop and price a new one after theirs crapped out after a year. List was around 600 best I remember. I had a Bosch industrial starter come in (for Cat, Detroit etc diesels). The starter new list for 4200 and the solenoid was 800. A 40MT delco will take its place for about 190.00 (g)
