Larry,my comments about deteriorating fundamentals was in reference to the technology sector in general. With respect to MU it is early in the quarter to say with certainty but it seems reasonable to me to expect a loss this Q comparable to and probably larger than last Q. Why? I do not anticipate any lasting significant rebound in the price of Dram. Specific to MU there is large inventory and the Lehi white elephant which needs to be addressed at some point. Write downs? I think the impact of SEA on the world economy will be more severe than many anticipate or would like us to believe. As Alan Greenspan says markets are about confidence do you really expect politicians or leading financial figures to be anything but optimistic. Grim, Will doesn't mean to dis' such fine american companies I just tell it like I see it. Mike
