Last quarter QNTM results came in on 01/15/98. They warned on 12/10/97, more than in a month in advance. It looks like they are not going to issue a warning this time. Regarding DLT's they blamed on transitional issues from 4000 to 7000. and on media sales been relatively soft. They expected both of these transition issues to ease as they enter a next quarter. Sales of Quantum's DLT brand tape products were $330 million for the third quarter. ''Revenue from our DLT tape business increased 62% from the third quarter a year ago, and our DLT business again accounted for a record 22% of our sales for the quarter,'' said Brown. I think we're going up very soon. Still don't understand why SEG is higher then QNTM. igl.
