BAY is getting some follow through on yesterday's strong move. Looks like it could be more than a short covering rally. As you all know, I personally think it should be....

I was looking at First Albany's earnings revisions: Cut 1998 earnings estimate to $0.76 per share from $1.10 per share on a preliminary basis, and reduced 1999 estimate to $1.14. This implies that they think BAY will make $.20 in the 4th qtr given a $.10 3rd qtr. This is $.07 less than the 2cnd qtr which they hope to beat - so I guess First Albany is thinking the 4th will be a big disappointment also....or maybe they forgot had to run a spreadsheet...
