Interesting you should mention VISA. I believe Wave has also had discussions with them regarding the integration of a so-called PC smart card with the Wave meter where Wave would rent the use of the meter for an annual fee. I am not technically well versed to know exactly how it would work, but somehow the Wave meter would provide a secure 'firewall' for credit card transactions on the PC. If ever successfully implemented, this could open up a hugely profitable source of revenue for the company at a fairly low overhead.
