I have to wait until tomorrow to see if the 20's I wrote are going to call the stock. I am not buying them back today or before expiration, as I feel that MDCO will close just above 20 and someone can have the stock. If I don't get called, I will write 20's again.

I set a target with this purchase of MDCO stock (purchased stock at high 17's) and wrote two months worth of calls. I got a nice premium and nice % return, and will move the money to cash if called. I am staying disciplined to my original goal.

As for your situation, YES, if I didn't have a call again my stock now, I would write Aprils. for you, try 22.5's, (QDMDX) they are now bidding 1 to 1 1/8.

IMHO, Usual disclaimers, and this is not investment advise.
