"Zack's moved NEOG from buy to hold this week. Any ideas?"

Uh, Zack's is stupid? :-)

FDA announced today a successful test of a process to rid chickens of Salmonella bacteria. It involves giving young chickens a combination of harmless bacteria that kills Salmonella. Reports were that it was 100% effective. I still don't see this as decreasing the need to test for contamination.

Could be that the hot money has moved out of food safety.

Just a couple of ideas.

Cheers,

Rich

Yeah. The analyst at Zack's has lost his mind. Push that stock price down; I'm ready with my Fishin' net to scoop it up. Come here sellers

Be Cool,
Gary

Kenneth;

Are you sure of the downgrade!

Yahoo list NEOG as having only the two "strong buys"

Granted it was last updated on the 9th, but a move all the way down to a hold on no published news from the co? Their two lines of business are growing and I wonder what could possibly be happening to cause problems?
