Albert, AMD Price Action is suggesting someone knows or believes that the quarter numbers won't be so bad. Don't know what you want to do with your scanner, but Photosoap costs $49 and MS Publisher costs about $85. For that money, you can publish just about anything. Some Scanners come with Photosoap today. A while back some HP Color Printers came with MS Publisher. If you do get Publisher, Make sure you get Publisher 98. Scanner prices have really fallen dramatically in a year. I paid $179 for a 600X300 with interpolation to 9600 by 9600 about a year ago. Today, about half that. BTW Publisher comes with a nice clip art collection too. Best regards and good investing, Burt
