Can someone please explain to me why MRVC always seems to start the day off on an up-note (in the $3/4 to $1 range) and then fall off to down $3/4 to $1?

You're right, there's a price to cover but no one would think twice about buying something at 5/16 and selling it at 1 3/4 so why is it so painful to pay 5/16 to cover something you already sold at 1 3/4. Go figure. I have a mentor that made the first markets in options when they opened years ago. He's beat a discipline into me that makes you not think twice about things like that.
