Bosco - Quite right - I didn't suggest Mang or anyone was trying to talk it down; Mang also posts about BAY on the COMS thread. Over there he said before the warning that any sign of a slow-down would bring the stock to the low 20's. Previously he had said he would buy back in at 26. He is also of the opinion that the charts "showed it all". I think that chart's showed that people were selling in the last two weeks - something that we all knew without the benefit of charts - the fact that some institutions were selling doesn't prove that any of the sellers knew anything definite before the warning. I have seen no proof that anybody knew anything definite and lots of indications that many analysts and institutions did not know. In so far as the charts indicate to Mang and his correspondents on the COMS thread that BAY was going down to the low 20s and the mid teens, the charts were wrong, at the very least they did not "show it all". No doubts the charts will now be indicating that BAY has rebounded!

Anyway this is all history now - I would prefer to concentrate on the future. It doesn't mean that I hold; I trade and I may find better stocks in the meantime.
