Perhaps the reality of the situation is that there is little or no difference between the switches from Ancor, Brocade, or Vixel. Does any really know if there is??? It may then be nothing more than a matter of who excels in marketing, and we all know that answer to that.

As much as I hate to admit, you have been screwed, at least on paper anyway. Sun Micro's selection of another vendor seemingly has upset a lot of investors who no longer feel confidence in Ancor's ability to deliver many of whom have emotionally liquidated their holdings. Though it's disappointing, IMO, it's much too early to write the company off. The Ancor team actually does have a track record of success and of course a marketable product in a booming industry. But I think how well the products are marketed will ultimately determine who makes it and who breaks it. Microsoft taught us that lesson. My guess (and wishful thinking)is that Ancor will do very well and we'll see significant share price appreciation by late this year. My advice, begin to cost average down now if you have the liquidity, otherwise stay put.
